Civil War Roundtable – Bruce Mowday presents Unlikely Allies: Fort Delaware’s Prison Community in the Civil War

During the Civil War, Pea Patch Island, was used as a prison for Confederate prisoners of war. It was designed to hold 2,000 prisoners, but by 1863 that number had surged to over 10, 000. Come discover what life was like for these prisoners of the Civil War.
