In this program sponsored by the Lititz Historical Foundation, Gentry Stolzfus will present on the fascinating historic instrumental treasures held in the collection of the Lititz Moravian Archives. The instruments date from circa 1762 through circa 1820, and many are in original (or near original) condition and could still function in a performance today. Included will be two quartets of early trombones, a rare serpent, an ophicleide, a particularly ornate keyed bugle, and a waldhorn.
Please pre-register no more than three weeks in advance by emailing your name, phone number and number attending to register@lititzlibrary.org or calling the library at 626-2255.
