The Battle of Falling Waters

Thursday, May 12th 2016

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

In this program sponsored by the Lancaster Civil War Round Table, George Franks, III will talk about the Battle of Falling Waters, regarded by many historians as the conclusion of the Gettysburg Campaign. Although not the climactic battle of the war desired by President Abraham Lincoln, it remains a story of miscalculation, bravery, larger-than-life personalities, tragedy and cover-up.
