Each class will begin with warm up poses including breathing and stretching. Children will be guided through a sequence of yoga poses through storytelling and movement. Poses include: animals, such as lion, cat, dog; insects, including crickets, butterflies; things in nature, clouds, trees, flowers, etc. Each session will end with a short relaxation. This is the perfect way for your child to be introduced to yoga in a fun and stimulating way.
Classes are limited to 12 children. Yoga mats will be provided. Please call the library at 626-2255 to pre-register for each class no more than two weeks in advance.
