Due to construction in 2026, we will not be able to accept any bulk book donations
Because of storage constraints, we can only take donations of books in quantities of 5 or less and DVD or Blu-ray discs in quantities of 20 or less at a time.. All book donations must be in excellent “like new” condition.
Book donations that we can currently accept:
- New books published since 2024
- DVDs and Blu-rays – 20 or less at a time
- Nonfiction history books – 5 books or less at a time
- Nonfiction Civil War books – 5 books or less at a time
- Nonfiction art books – 5 books or less at a time
- Donations should be turned in directly to the Circulation Desk.

All book donations must be in excellent “like new” condition. The Lititz Public Library welcomes book donations but accepts them with the understanding that library staff has the right to handle or dispose of them in the best interest of the library. Such material may be added to the collection , however most will benefit the library through proceeds from book sales.
