Cakes using Wilton decorative cake pans

The Lititz Public Library’s cake pans are made possible by a donation from Maggie Turner.  In 2025 Maggie completed her Girl Scout Gold Project.  The Gold Award is the highest achievement that a scout can earn and signifies she has made a positive impact in her community.

Maggie had enjoyed making cakes with her mother and grandmother and decorating them and wanted to share how special it was for her.   She collected 20 Wilton cake pans from a variety of sources and donated them to the Lititz Public Library along with the specific directions for creating each design and the icing tips that are used for decorating the cakes.

Patrons may now borrow any of the 20 Wilton cake pans.  We hope you all enjoy the fun of making, eating, and sharing your delicious cakes with friends and family and share your photos with us here. Cake pans are available to check out from the Lititz Public Library.
