This week, some of the most visible changes have happened inside the library as the construction crew finished the carpeting and painting throughout the building and moved to the circulation area. Circulation and public computers have moved into the community room as construction makes way for our new book return that will go directly into the back room, a redesign of the back room to make it more functional for staff, and a makeover of the circulation desk that are coming in the next few weeks. Elsewhere around the library, the wall that will separate the children’s area from the rest of the library has started going up and outside the building, landscaping continues to come together. We appreciate your patience as things continue to change around the building and we do our best to make sure patrons are able to access the building and make use of our resources during construction. Check back next week for more updates!
