This week, our construction crew moved inside and began setting up the HVAC, lighting, and painting the ceilings in the new additions. In the next few weeks, we will have a few closures (8/7 and 8/31) for our plumbers to make some progress and we will see the start of the new storytime room inside…

This week, the construction crew worked on the exterior ground, surrounding the new sidewalk with dirt. This week, construction crews worked diligently to get our gutters attached to the new additions just in time for the rain! We also had work happening inside the largest of the additions, where crews tiled the bathroom. See some photos below!

This week, sidewalks went in around the building, which will provide a new walking path that will allow for entering through the back and front doors of the building! See some photos of framing of the sidewalks and laying of the concrete below!

This week, work continued inside the new extensions to the library and our new cabinets and countertops arrived! We also saw the finishing of the exterior of these sections with features that match the existing building, making the new additions look like they’ve always been there!
