Lititz Public Library continues to require patrons to use a properly worn mask, regardless of vaccination status. We are reviewing various options that will hopefully ease restrictions on those that have fully vaccinated while safeguarding those that have not had an opportunity to vaccinate. As 12 to 15-year-olds have only recently been eligible and those under 12 are still at least a few months out for possible vaccinations, we must consider all members of the library community in our decisions. Remaining consistent in approach will help to ensure the safety and well-being of our community while minimizing disruptions that may result from significant revisions to existing plans and systems.
